"For this statement..." (7:29) In this rather jarring exchange with a non-Jewish woman, Jesus grants her a miracle of deliverance based on what her faith speaks.
There is power in having and speaking with faith. God grants things to people when they risk speaking out loud a cry of faith. Even when God seems reluctant to act in a situation, speaking with risky faith can be a cause for God's response.
